Manila, Philippines- As per information provided by the Philippine News Agency on Tuesday, four recruits of the Casino Filipino located in Mandaue City, Cebu are being enquired for their active and supposed involvement in a scandal of P2.8 million by an internal security staff from the cash-chamber last Saturday. According to satellite operations manager Renato Osmena Jr. of Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. (Pagcor), the four recruits including controller of cash-chamber, two cashiers and treasury officer are scrutinized for helping Pascual Urian, who fled away with a huge amount of cash from the casino and is still untraceable. During his hunt, Pascual (an employee at the casino for four years) fled away by hiring a taxi after throwing some cash on the ground with another guard chasing him.
Cash worth P 80,000 were regained later on by the police that went to Mario Malaluan. As stated by Osmena, Pascual is being chased by police. Further, he added that they have clues about the location of Pascual which they will keep secret so as not to interfere with the police operations. He also highlighted the need of improvement in tracing the personal information of security officers as improved by this latest happening.
