May 29 will be a great day for the casino enthusiasts when they have access to the new Hollywood Casino in Toledo by Penn National Gaming Inc, for which the Ohio Casino Control Commission has accorded its official approval.
While this new venture is in the pipeline, introduction of certain laws for the casinos would empower the State Inspector General to conduct investigations and supervise the actions of the State Attorney’s General employees who work as the law enforcement agents at the casinos. According to the new rules, the bingo halls would entertain the clients until 2 a.m. instead of up to midnight. The proposed rules would incorporate a regulatory framework for the slots like video lottery terminals that would operate at Ohio racetracks. In addition, minimum number of live racing days at the State’s seven horse tracks will also come into force as per the proposed bill.
The level of the breeding and racing in Ohio would considerably go up by allowing certain permit holders to give some part of their commission from video lottery terminals to the State’s Racing Commission.
The proposed bill would put an end to the existing irregularities of the casinos in the interest of the gamblers who play for fun and benefit.
